Lab
The lab consists of building an information system for a specific domain. This entails data acquisition,
data cleansing, indexing, selection and implementation of a suitable retrieval model, development of a UI,
evaluation of search quality, submission of a short written report as well as well-documented source code,
and a final presentation.
Successful participation in the lab is a prerequisite to be admitted to the exam.
